Flowtel Engineering Series FEHLx Model Hydrostatic Level Transmitter is designed to insert sensor probe into the liquid and calculate the liquid level by measuring the pressure change felt by the probe. This series water level meter are completely sealed for submersion in liquid, can be used to measure water level, well depth, groundwater level and so on, common accuracy is 0.5%FS, with voltage or 4-20mA output signals. It is widely used in water level monitoring in urban water supply and drainage, sewage treatment, pools, oil tanks, hydro-geology, reservoirs, rivers and oceans.

Working Principle

The Pressure Sensor uses the piezoresistive effect of diffused silicon or ceramic sensitive elements to convert the static pressure of the liquid into an electrical signal so as to output a voltage signal that is linearly proportional to the pressure. After the conversion of the amplifier circuit, the current & voltage output are realized. Establish a linear correspondence between the output signal and the liquid level depth to achieve the measurement of liquid depth.
